Mini and his wife have been faithfully serving the Lord for around 20 years.  Mini has served in campus ministry, church planting, and now in assisting pastors and church planters around Thailand.

I’ve know them since I arrived in 2001.  I remember Mini from 2002-03 as a fasting and prayer warrior.  I was so shocked at his 40 day fasts, thinking, “this guy is so skinny, if he fasts any more he may just blow away with the wind!” His heart to see his country changed by Christ is awesome and he and his family will surely spend a lifetime spreading the Gospel.

His name means complete, whole, perfect. Cool name for a cool dude. This guy loves Jesus and is passionate about making sure other people know Jesus too. He pastors several churches in the mountains of Mae Hong Son, Thailand and tried to plant new ones all the time.

He preaches the Gospel, no matter the situation and has for years now. No truck, no motorcycle? No problem. He walks. (As of Sept. 2012, he has some wheels). No money? No problem. We were talking recently, (Aug. ’12), and the leader of the church planting wing of the ministry said, “I want to find at least $175 per month in support for Pastor Somboon and his family.” Pastor Somboon said, “$175 is good – at the most! I’m ok now with practically nothing. I can collect trash in my free time!”

Moo and his wife Ou are church planters.  Moo is pastoring 2 churches in Northeastern Thailand.  He has worked in the church partnership/Jesus Film ministry wing of Thailand Campus Crusade for Christ in the past, contacting churches and helps connect the campus ministry (current students and those who are recent graduates) with local churches.

(Moo was also our roommate and Thai teacher 8 years ago when I first moved here. He was a student then and my American teammate and I discipled him for a year. He then joined staff and has been going full speed ahead for 10+ years now).
